The Practice
How to actually do the work. Seven archetype-specific guides to microdosing protocols, day-to-day rhythms, and what to expect along the way.
The Practice is the day-to-day of microdosing. It is what happens after the quiz tells you which archetype you are and you sit down to actually start.
Most microdosing content treats the practice as if it is the same for everyone — same protocol, same schedule, same outcome. It is not. The Wandering Spore who is coming back to themselves after years on antidepressants needs a different practice than the Neural Farmer optimizing cognitive performance. The Shadow Root sitting with old trauma needs a different practice than the Cosmic Spacer integrating a decade of contemplative work into daily life.
Each of the seven archetype guides below covers:
- The recommended protocol — Fadiman, Stamets Stack, the Three-Day Rhythm, Intuitive, or one of the other established patterns — and why it fits this archetype specifically
- What the first thirty days actually look like — what to expect, what to watch for, what is normal and what is not
- The integration practices that compound the work — journaling prompts, breathwork, movement, the rituals that turn microdosing from a substance into a practice
- The most common pitfalls — the mistakes the people in this archetype tend to make, and how to avoid them
- When to pause, slow down, or stop — every guide includes the warning signs that mean it is time to consult a qualified professional
If you have not taken the quiz yet, take it first. The two-minute quiz tells you which guide is for you and saves you from reading six that are not.
The seven archetype guides
