The Microdose Movement ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have about your information. This policy applies to mcrdsemovement.com and any related subdomains.
What we collect
Information you give us directly
- Email address when you take our archetype quiz, fill out our contact form, or subscribe to our newsletter.
- Quiz answers and your assigned archetype when you complete the quiz.
- Name and message content when you send us a contact form submission or submit a story.
Information collected automatically
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — we use Cloudflare's privacy-respecting analytics, which is cookie-free, anonymized, and does not track individual visitors across the web. It collects aggregate page-view data only.
- Browser local storage — we use your browser's local storage to remember your preferred theme (light or dark) and to temporarily save your quiz progress if you leave mid-quiz. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
- Standard server logs — like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps temporary logs of requests for security and abuse prevention.
How we use your information
- To send you your quiz result and any educational content you request.
- To respond to your contact form submissions or story submissions.
- To send you our newsletter, if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve the website and its content based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.
- To prevent abuse, spam, and security threats.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising purposes. We do not run advertising on this website.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the site:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, web analytics, security.
- MailChannels — outbound email delivery (Cloudflare partner service).
- Go High Level (GHL) — newsletter and contact management. Your email address and basic contact information are stored in our GHL account when you opt in or contact us.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We do not share information with any other third parties for marketing, advertising, or analytics purposes.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. We use browser local storage for theme preference and quiz progress, which is technically not a cookie and stays on your device. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Because we do not use tracking cookies, you do not need to dismiss a cookie banner to use this site.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. We honor all valid requests within the timeframes required by law.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
